Not sleeping much? In this class we will learn about the science of sleep, infant sleep cycles, how and why they change — and how you can both anticipate and gently adapt so the whole family can sleep better!
In this class we’ll discuss the anthropology of sleep, dispelling the myths, and learning valuable tools to promote sleep for everyone. We will discuss the available literature and studies and share some tips from local parents and professionals. In the last part of class, we will review sample sleep schedules and learn the basics of how to implement good sleep skills from the start. You’ll come away from this class with guidelines to help your baby sleep better, gently. This class will support all new parents but is designed for families; pregnant thru 8 months. We welcome crib-sleeping and co-sleeping families whether you want to stay with your current bed arrangement or make a change.
