Facilitated by Dr. Alisa Nowik Stern, Psy.D. this is a talk therapy group is designed for moms who are struggling with mood or anxiety concerns, or feelings of overwhelm, related to postpartum and the first year parenting an infant. Group size is 6-8 mothers.
You are not alone – lots of moms have a tough time during pregnancy or after having a baby. This group provides a safe space to address common issues including: anxiety and depression, difficulty bonding with your baby, feeling overwhelmed and isolated, fears and worries, shifts in identity, and balancing relationships and responsibilities. Join us to build a close, connected community with other mothers. Tools for elf-care is important: we’ll learn and practice ways to calm our bodies and minds in early parenting. Feel free to come with or without your baby.
