Whether you are a seasoned yogi or dancer, or are completely new to fitness classes, our classes are a great way to melt away stress and stay fit and flexible during pregnancy and beyond.
We offer several types of prenatal and family-focused yoga and dance. Classes are small (no more than 12 participants), but the community-vibe is big.
Did you think that having a baby means putting all your needs on hold? It doesn’t have to be that way. Get out of the house, bring your baby along, get to know other mamas in the community and focus on things that make you feel good! And, if you like, we have on-site “baby holders” to love your baby while you enjoy some much-needed “me” time.
Whether you want to ward off “baby blues,” gently restore strength in your core, ease “baby holding” tension in your neck, chest, and shoulders, or just get out of the house for a bit, this mixed-level class helps you reconnect with your body and your community. Many new parents find it a good way to meet new friends who are going through similar up’s-and-down’s — often people go have lunch afterward and begin to create their own “mom tribe”!

Family Yoga with Your Little Yogis is a kids-focused introduction to yoga, with a mixture of yoga games, postures, music, meditation and fun. Silly is the name of the game, but the intro to yoga poses and breath is authentic. Kids (and their grown-ups) have an opportunity to learn about yoga, to move, and to reconnect with their families amidst the hustle and bustle of life. The class will be child-centered, but adults get a good stretch as well. All family members are welcome to participate, but the class will be most appropriate for younger kids (ages 2 – 6) and their parents or caregivers. That said, babies and toddlers under the age of two are always welcome to join the silliness free of charge — and any second child from the age of two to six can join for 50% off the class price or class pass price.
Little brothers/ sisters below the age of 18 months are welcome free of charge.

Prepare your mind and body for the big day coming your way! Our prenatal yoga classes are developed to guide you through the winding path of pregnancy ( interweaving components of childbirth education and group check-in’s) while addressing common prenatal aches & pains that accompany the rapid changes in your body. We keep our classes small to help build connection and community. Save room in your schedule for the potluck celebration on the last class of the Series!
Practiced regularly, specially developed poses help increase the strength and endurance of muscles needed for labor, while focused breathing and mental centering can help lower your anxiety levels as the big day approaches. You are also open to discuss any issues, from discomforts and worries, to the wonderful new changes you’ve been experiencing, with other soon-to-be moms — you’ll likely find that you are in good company.

Yoga & Dance
Nope, you’re all good. If your doctor has advised you to take it easy and not do certain types of exercise, by all means follow their advice. Otherwise, take the class at your own pace and really let your body be your guide. We’ll save the headstands for later.
When adapted to the needs of pregnant or postpartum women, yoga can not only be safe for pregnancy and postpartum, but can provide valuable benefit both physically and emotionally. It’s important that you are aware of your own limitations, take it easy when you need to, and be aware that you have increased relaxin (a hormone that can make joints and ligaments of the pelvis and low back more mobile than normal), so follow the guidance of our experienced instructors. Discuss with your midwife or OB if it is safe for you to exercise and do gentle modified yoga. Once given the all-clear, know that it’s not only safe, but important, to take care of yourself and your wellbeing.
This is a multi-level class — you will be surrounded by people who are brand new and trying new things and others who may look like they can teach the class themselves. Our instructors adapt to the particular vibe and needs of the class, and the small class sizes allows opportunity to get some individualized attention and help refining your technique. In other words — no worries, you are in good company!
Can’t find a babysitter? No worries — we have baby-holders to care for your little one while you focus on having a little “me” time.
