Our COVID-19 action plan through October 2021: We had been aiming to start in-person by late Summer. However, we see that the Delta variant is serious and that community COVID-19 rates are rising. Therefore, our intention is to do our part to keep our community safe by continuing to offer live online or virtual classes — with many participants choosing to meet in parks or for walks — at least through October 2021. November and December classes will either be online or in person.
Our expert CPR and Choke Saving providers are prepared to teach an effective class and will still observe and comment on your technique as you learn them, using a doll or other item — even a rolled up towel! — in your own home.
$99/ Couple + $45/ per additional family members (grandparents, etc.)

Please read the class description below if you have a Toddler or Preschooler at home and would like the instructor to bring a pediatric CPR mannequin.
Learn to prevent and respond to the most common medical emergencies for infants and young children: fever, allergic reactions, poisoning, seizures and trauma, with extra emphasis on airway issues, including responding to choking. Infant CPR is practiced with electronic feedback CPR manikins. If you also have a Toddler or Preschooler at home, please let us know at registration and we can do a “side demonstration” on pediatric CPR techniques.
This is a great class for parents and family members. Pre-crawling infants welcome, although it is important to register with another adult, if you bring your baby.
This class does not certify you in First Aid or CPR. It is a good class for non-licensed childcare providers, like baby sitters and home nannies/ nanny share providers.
We are pleased to work in partnership with In Home CPR to provide this class for the community. While In-Home reserves the right to staff the class as fitting, your instructor will be one of these three talented professionals:
If you need to cancel or miss a class, please call us at 510.817.2229 or reach out to us via our Contact page as soon as possible. If you cancel your registration at least 14 days in advance, 75% of your fee will be refunded or you may choose to receive full credit toward a class or service up to six months in the future. If you cancel less than 14 days in advance or if you do not show for a class, your fee will not be refunded. If you want to move to an earlier or later date, and we are able to fill your space in the class you are transferring from, you may do this for a $25.00 administration fee.
On occasion, due to instructor illness or when required minimum enrollment is not met, Then Comes Baby may need to cancel or postpone a class. We will give participants the earliest notification possible and offer a full refund or Then Comes Baby credit, per your wishes. Please know that we are fully committed to your education and will make every effort to make-up your canceled class.
