On occasion, due to instructor illness or when required minimum enrollment is not met, Then Comes Baby may need to cancel or postpone a class. Many of our series classes have make-up dates pre-scheduled and in place AT REGISTRATION. Even though we rarely need to utilize this make-up, we find that it is very helpful in the event that a teacher truly is ill or has an emergency. Please be sure that you have this dates “penciled in” in case it is needed.
For cancellation, we will give participants the earliest notification possible and offer a full refund or Then Comes Baby credit, per your wishes. Please know that we are fully committed to your education and will make every effort for you to make up your canceled class or help you enroll in another one.

Sick Policy and Our Hygiene Practices:
If you’re experiencing symptoms of illness, we thank you for letting us know of your absence as soon as possible, ideally at least 24 hours in advance. If you are actively ill, please do not come. If the class has a make-up option we will be happy to offer you an available spot in a future class. If the class does not have a formal “make up” option, we will see how we can help you.
This is how we are able to ensure the best possible health outcomes for everyone who visits Then Comes Baby. We love seeing you, and we look forward to doing just that, once you’re recovered.
Our Hygiene Practices (for in person services):
We regularly wipe down and disinfect surfaces, door handles, and the common areas that people touch in the bathroom.
We have hand sanitizer, though in times on epidemics our supplies can run low and like many others we have trouble quickly replenishing stock. If you have your own alcohol-based hand sanitizer, please bring it.
PLEASE:
- Keep you and/ or your baby home when sick.
- Please cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue.
- We have tissues at Then Comes Baby but if no tissue is available, cough or sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.
- Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- We trust that those with seasonal allergies will do their best to care for themselves, recognize their own signs of allergies versus illness, and follow guidelines for covering coughs and sneezes.
