Prepare your mind and body for the big day coming your way! Prenatal Yoga also offers an excellent way of preparing for the birth of your baby, both physically and mentally. Our prenatal yoga classes are developed to guide you through the winding path of pregnancy, interweaving components of childbirth education and group check-in’s, while addressing common prenatal aches pains that accompany such rapid changes in your body. All while, through our Series model, getting to know other soon-to-be mamas in your community. We keep our classes small to help build connection and community. Save room in your schedule for the potluck celebration on the last class of the Series!
Practiced regularly, specially developed poses help increase the strength and endurance of muscles needed for labor, while focused breathing and mental centering can help lower your anxiety levels as the big day approaches. You are also open to discuss any issues, from discomforts and worries, to the wonderful new changes you’ve been experiencing, with other soon-to-be moms — you’ll likely find that you are in good company.
- If you need to miss a class in the Series you can make-up one class of the Series in the next Series, our other concurrent Prenatal Yoga series, or in Mom & Baby yoga)
- If a Series is running and you would like to come into a class, the drop-in rate is $18/ class.
